RECITAL | Ruben Kozin

Pianist Ruben Kozin will give a recital at the State Philharmonia of Armenia on May 23. The program features some of the musician’s favorite works, offering an exquisite selection of pieces in different styles.
The pianist will perform one of Beethoven’s most beloved sonatas, Sonata No. 31, Op. 110, in A-flat major, along with a selection of works by Tchaikovsky. The program will also include highlights of Armenian music: transcriptions of works by Komitas, made by the great pianist Robert Andriasyan.
The evening will also feature the premiere of the Second Piano Sonata by Eduard Hayrapetyan, a prominent Armenian composer of our time. The work is dedicated to Ruben Kozin.
