The Philharmonia inaugurates a chamber music series dedicated to the 100th birth anniversary of Geronti Talalyan, an eminent cellist and educator. 

Talalyan’s distinguished artistry and decades of teaching played a pivotal role in the development of cello performance in Armenia. The generations of musicians he nurtured and the artistic traditions he passed on constitute an invaluable legacy, whose preservation and recognition lie at the heart of this jubilee series.
