🎵 Alexey Lyubimov is one of the brightest and most creative Russian pianists, who played a huge role in promoting both old and modern music in the territory of the former USSR and abroad. He is a People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2003) and a laureate of many international competitions. M. V. Yudina had a great influence on the formation of Lyubimov as a musician. Immediately after graduating from the Moscow State Conservatory with G. Neuhaus and L. Naumov, he began teaching work and was an assistant professor at the Moscow State Conservatory in the chamber ensemble class. In 1997, he created and headed the Faculty of Historical and Contemporary Performing Arts in collaboration with N. Gutman and N. Kozhukhar and was the dean of this faculty until 2010. Since 1998, he has been a professor at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg.
Lyubimov is a performer of an unusually wide range, his repertoire includes almost the entire arsenal from ancient to modern music, as well as experience in electronic and rock music. He is one of the world's largest specialists in performing on historical claviers.
