🛎Dear friends, we invite you to enjoy an evening of piano music. The Nikolai Nikoghosyan Cultural Foundation will host a solo concert by Nikolai Kurdyumov on November 17🎹
Nikolai Kurdyumov-Markosyan is a pianist, a graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory, a multiple winner of international competitions in Russia and abroad as a soloist and ensemble artist. One of the most sought-after pianists and accompanists in Russia. He has a wide repertoire, including music from the 17th to the 21st centuries; music of the classical and romantic eras (Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert, Brahms, Rachmaninov) occupies a special place in Nikolai’s work. He has been collaborating for many years with Ivan Dyma as a pianist-accompanist. As part of their joint creativity, the musicians implemented such projects as “Saxophone of the XXI Century”, “Jazz Avant-Garde and Avant-Garde Jazz”, carried out a number of Russian and world premieres and are active in concert activities in Moscow and Russian cities.
🎼
The program is named after M. Ravel's cycle "Reflections", parts of which will be performed in the concert along with the best works of Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt. This is music in which everyone can see and hear themselves. And be surprised at how accurately music written more than a hundred years ago can reflect the reality surrounding us right now.
